Merry Christmas!!!!!!! We are ready for Santa!!! Adrian is growing by the minute and eats like nobodys business....Tonight we went to my mom and dad's for dinner...yummy prime rib!!! we are home and I just finished wraping the last few gifts to put under the tree!!! Tomorrow morning mom and dad are coming out for breakfast and presents then they will come back later for dinner....Larenzo is going to fry a turkey!!!It should be a nice and relaxing day!!!! Hello all.......things are going well!!!!! Adrian is sleeping pretty good, however when he is hungry it comes out of nowhere and you cannot take more than a second to feed him or he gets very angry.....today we are just hanging at home...tomorrow he goes back to the doctor for yet another weight check...hopefully he has gained something!!!After the doctor Adrian and I are going to go to the hospital to the breastfeeding support group Christmas party...it should be fun to meet some other moms...we have gone on a few walks and to target 1 time....it took me an hour to get 5 things!!!!!but it was ok...I was a nervous wreck taking him into the store, but nobody touched him so hopefully he didn't attract any germs....well i'll report later...

I think we may try to take a little walk today with Adrian...it is absolutly beautiful outside.....we are having a quiet day today...yesterday we had company...Grandma Green and Greatgrandma Susie and the girls came to meet the baby...Grandma Green couldn't get him away from daddy hardly...he has a tight grip on his new baby boy!!!!!!! Ok here we go......Adrian Larenzo arrived!!!!! Last Monday morning I arrived at the doctor for what I was praying to be my last appointment to see if I had progressed anymore...Dr. B told me that because I was past my due date that she was going to have her nurse Christie put a fetal monitor on my belly to check out baby's heartrate..while she is going to do this Dr. B is going to do my exam....No sooner does Christie get one of the straps around me, Dr. B tells me I am dialated now to 2cm..As the words are coming out of her mouth, she stops and does an "oops I accidentally just broke your water!" "Tracee, you'r water must have been on the verge of breaking" After what you can imagine is a weird feeling, I get off the table and situated. Dr.B tells me that she is going out of the room to prepare my hospital papers and I should head right over there. Larenzo is at work, mom and dad are at home, and I am going to drive myself to the hospital...So i get in the car and go..I make it down Main Street just fine, as no contractions had started yet, get my suitcases out of the car and head up to registration. When I get to registration, I encounter Jessica, my new friend who preregistered me the week before..She gets my papers and puts me in a wheel chair and off we go up to the third floor, Labor and Delivery...no sooner am I wheeled in that my dad appears behind me and right behind him is Larenzo. Mom was on her way. So they get me situated in bed and hook me up to some iv fluids. Dr.B tells them over the phone to start me on some pitocin to get the contractions going.......Well you can imagine what happens after that....holy crap!!!!!LOTS of PAIN!!!!!! I handled contractions every 3 min. progressing to every 1 min. for an hour and a half..then I begged like a dirty dog for the epidural....The anestesologist came in and put that into my back and almost instantly I had relief..well it seems that the baby stopped liking labor because Dr. B stopped pitocin and contractions stopped..she would turn it back on and baby would go into fetal stress... So at 5:30, after being stuck at 5 cm for over 5 hrs..Dr.B decides I am going to have to go right in and have a c-section....15 min. later Larenzo is dressed like a doctor and they are telling him to wait in a certain area for them to come get him and they wheel me into the O.R. 2 min. later he is by my side, with so much love and concern it makes me cry...so that was 5:45...at 5:51 I am cut open and Dr. B and her partner Dr. Blessit are announcing to us that we have a big big baby!!!!! Larenzo is watching every move they make and is so incredible!!!! As the rest of the baby is brought out of my stomach...they say "it's a big big BOY!!!!!!" You can imagine our joy and overwhelming feeling of love for this new little guy...So they take Adrian and wrap him in a blankie and give him to Larenzo to hold for the first time!!!!! After a min they say he has to go to the nursery to be weighed and checked out and that daddy can come....In the meantime I am getting stitched up and put together...they have me wheeled back in my room, and bring in Adrian for his first feeding...it's now 6:15...everything happened so fast....now we are home as a family with this new wonderful addition!!!!!Feeding is going really well, thankfully!!!!and we have had a great night last night of good sleep!!!!!! THE LAST DAY OF NOVEMBER...NO BABY?
Well today is Sunday...and still no baby..tomorrow is the doctor...we'll see! I thought that by the end of my due date month there would be a baby, but I was wrong!!! THat's ok though...obliviously the baby is not ready...does he or she realize that we are????? haha....It's not about us...this is the true indication of that!!! So I think I am going to meet my mom today and go see the new movie, Four Christmas'...maybe some serious laughter will spark something....I keep you posted........

Yep another day gone and still no baby!!!!!! I spent 4 hours walking around at a couple baby stores, again hoping that would spur something along.....nope!!! But at least we were able to get the Christmas tree up and decorated...It looks really pretty...I know the baby will love to stare at the lights!!! I do!!! 2 more days to go and then it'sff to the doctor again, where hopefully she tells me something more has progressed! We'll see!!! Everybody say a little prayer to move things along... Keep ya posted!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!! No, no baby yet!!! I kind of thought last night something might be happening, but nothing! Grandma and Grandpa Green are cooking up a storm in Charleston...lots of company!!! It's a little too far for us to go givin the impending arrival...I did see them yesterday..and we will see them Sunday if the baby hasen't come by then!! Grandma and Grandpa Spencer are comming over here today with all the fixins! I can't wait to sink my teeth into that turkey...but I do have to be careful, because last time I ate turkey, a couple of weeks ago, it sent my bp up pretty high....so a lot of water has to accompany the turkey today!!!! I've been doing a bit of walking around the stores the last couple of days, hoping it would accelerate baby...no such luck...but it's ok..when he or she is ready to come..they will!!!! We are going to do a little visiting today before my mom and dad come over...get our fill of everyone elses turkey too!!!! Like I keep saying...I'll let you all know if something transpires!!!! Happy Turkey Day to all!!!!

The doctor came and went without much excitment! I have dialated a whole 1/2 of a centimeter more, which puts me at a whopping 1 1/2. I am, however, efaced 50% and the baby is at a -3 position in the pelvic area....which all means I think I have a ways to go yet....Doctor B did give me the ok to do some walking now, because my blood pressure was pretty good today...so maybe that will bring on something! After the doc today I went to my mom's house where she had a small lunch to thank the girls who put on my showers! We had a lot of fun!!! I have some great friends!!! We laughed for an hour and a half straight! Well that's all for now...

Nope....still no action!!! Sheryl had all her bets on the baby coming yesterday...sorry Shereloney! The girls at work all have a pool going on the date sex, date, and weight of the baby...Today, Terra, Mindi, and Joyce all picked..and unless something extreme happens in the next few hours, I'm afraid they are out of luck too!!! I feel great..a little bored! Larenzo and I got the Christmas tree put up yesterday along with all of the indoor decore...so that we wouldn't have to do anything when we come home with the baby except sit and stare between baby and pretty tree! Well I'm going to continue on with reading my 8th or 9th book in the last 4 weeks..(all you can really do when your on bedrest). I'll keep you updated...Tomorrow morning I go to the doctor for what we hope is the last innie check! I did make one more for the Monday after Thanksgiving, just in case! So everybody pray tonight for a report of more dialation!!!!!!

Well the work day went smoothly.....no contractions as of yet...STILL WAITING!!!!! Grandma and Grandpa Green as well as Grandama and Grandpa Spencer are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby. Grandma Green is waiting by the phone to hear the word and they will be on their way from Charleston!!!!! We will be ready when the time comes!!!!

Good morning all.....this is going to be my last official day of working before the bouncing baby comes into the world!!!! I have been very restricted on work for the last 3 weeks so each time I go feels like I haven't been in months! I bet this time is going to fly by because I am not going to want to leave baby! I am super thankful, however, that my mom is going to be the one to take over for us while we work! Then starting in Feburary we will have additional help from a wonderful nanny...she will be sharing the work week with grandma Spencer!!!! Well I better get a move on, I should look like a hair stylist to day instead of someone who isn't leaving the house(that's what I have been looking like for the last 3 weeks). I'll keep you all informed if anything transpires during the work day today!!!!!

Mommy news......

Well 7 days and counting....hopefully!!! This morning I lost an important part! The MP. I won't go into details because it's kind of gross! However it is a sign that things are under way and progressing! On Monday I went for my usual once a week check-up and I was dialated to 1cm. I'm totally crazy to know if since then I have progressed any more? It's all a waiting game for now!!!!!!!!
